Fighting here is quite simple in some terms. Few statisics, depending on your rank, it would be (number)x powerful than another or equal. Like a Jounin would be 5x as powerful than a genin or something like that.
Apply nature, surroundings, and explanations to your moves. Also include how low your chakra may get, depending on what level of ninjutsu and genjutsu you are at and what techniques you use that might drain or replenish it. No GODMODING of course.
Math put here is depending on what techs you use... and how it help, unless it doesn't do as you wanted but how it was too. Umm... Ok, my explanation of this is cruddy, but it's almost free-verse play, except play logically and apply some mind statistics.
Turn based, to let you know, and depends on your speed for evasion on if you can dodge current things, don't be god and be able to dodge everything completely perfect. There should be some damage.
Take into mind that for every post, your character is also getting tired for each motion they take to either defend or attack another - like decrease in chakra since it acts like time.
EDIT: Don't heed the next post by a member; if you have any confusions, feel free to PM me and ask questions.

Well something to add on the ranking of abilities of something i noticed.
Academy student = usually has no chance handling a genin
genin = usually has no chance fighting a chuunin
Chuunin = usually has no chance fighting a jounin
Jounin = has no chance of fighting 2 akatsuki even with 3 jounins
Akatsuki = has no chance against sennin (im not sure if anbu falls into this category or not because i have not seen anbu fight akatsuki but since itachi was a anbu you could think they fall in this category)
Sennin = Hokage that would make more sense in the rankings right? because even itachi and fishy dude wouldn't take on a senin

But it also depends on the person true? If they have any special skills they could turn the battle in their favor.

He’s a little fact, LFH. Akatsuki belongs to me. It was newly formed a few years before the events now and it’s called Shin Akatsuki. However, they belong to the Cell Five saga, as they revolve around the story.
Also, it would depend on the skill of the person to determine the outcome. Remember the first Sasuke rescue part in Naruto Part 1, the Genin were able to handle Jounin level guardians. I mean, yes they were helped at the end. Although, Chouji and Neji did not have help and did kick butt before they almost lost their life.
If you turn strength into a weakness, a title will not matter. The opponent will suffer.

I wouldn't take what LfH says to heart anyway, aside the very obvious stuff he is saying. So his list up there doesn't count exactly. Afterall, he is saying what he thinks. It's an opinion, and I don't trust it at all.

well that is just my statistics of general rankings, and I don't believe I said it was always true. I believe I put usually on each part if not you know what I meant hopefully.

Yeah, hopefully there aren't any people that godly, and this fighting thing totally depends on the person's jutsu. Ranking shouldn't be important at all, at the momment.

Ranking makes some point nevertheless, but all this is just a general idea for people to keep in mind, so no one hopefully will be crazy enough to make a genius Genin beat a Kage, you know.
Also, it's not really jutsu alone that is the determining factor. It's strategy and wit, man.

It also depends, you can have the best tactic and wit and i have an overwhelming jutsu, i win

Well I could say that it would be extremely hard for a Genin to beat a Jounin or Kage even if, they had an amazing jutsu or strategy. Chances are, they're going to have a better one.

Again, not that it matters.
I think I should make a forum for spam and stuff. Things all over the place are getting way to off topic.

Forums are made for conversating, you do not have to be 100% on topic or it would be boring.
So stop insisting with the spam thing.
On topic, Do we put the fighting attack or movements in ** when rping?
